Upon notification, within 3–5 business days (when you call before 2 p.m. PST1, HP will send you the replacement unit at no charge. You must return the defective unit to us within 15 business days of receiving the replacement unit.
Important note: Coverage begins the day you bought the scanner, and this service must be purchased within a year of that date.
